Homestyle Beef Meatball Subs

Ingredients:

  • 1 tray of Bertolino Foods Homestyle Beef Meatballs (2.5 oz)
  • 1 jar marinara sauce (about 24 oz)
  • 4–6 sub rolls
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp of butter (for toasting rolls)
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Slice sub rolls open and spread with butter.
  3. Place rolls on a baking sheet and toast for 5–7 minutes until lightly golden.
  4. Cook our Beef Meatballs in a skillet until fully cooked through (about 15–20 minutes).
  5. Warm marinara sauce in a separate pan over medium-low heat.
  6. Add meatballs into the toasted rolls.
  7. Spoon warm marinara sauce over the meatballs.
  8. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese and broil for 1–2 minutes until melted.

To Serve:

Garnish with parsley or basil and serve warm.
