Homestyle Beef Meatball Subs
Ingredients:
- 1 tray of Bertolino Foods Homestyle Beef Meatballs (2.5 oz)
- 1 jar marinara sauce (about 24 oz)
- 4–6 sub rolls
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tbsp of butter (for toasting rolls)
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Slice sub rolls open and spread with butter.
- Place rolls on a baking sheet and toast for 5–7 minutes until lightly golden.
- Cook our Beef Meatballs in a skillet until fully cooked through (about 15–20 minutes).
- Warm marinara sauce in a separate pan over medium-low heat.
- Add meatballs into the toasted rolls.
- Spoon warm marinara sauce over the meatballs.
- Top with shredded mozzarella cheese and broil for 1–2 minutes until melted.
To Serve:
Garnish with parsley or basil and serve warm.
